This tutorial will explain how to resize images using Photoshop 7.0.
- Open the image in Photoshop. Make sure the image layer is active (highlighted).
- Select Image / Image Size .
- This is what will be displayed, except with your image details:
NOTE : By leaving the Resample Image box checked, you can change the pixel dimensions and resolution independently.
- Make sure the Constrain Proportions box is checked.
- Change the Document Size Width or Height to the image size desired.
- Press OK . At this time, Photoshop will resize the image to what was specified.
Here's another method to resize your image.
- Make sure the image's layer is active (highlighted).
- Select Edit / Transform / Scale .
- After pressing scale , a box around your image will appear. See example below:
- Click on a corner and press the SHIFT key (the SHIFT key will constrain proportions).
- Pull the corner to the desired size, still holding down the SHIFT key.
- Once you are at the desired size, release the mouse button and Shift key. Press ENTER .
