Becoming a registered member of Sscrapbook-Bytes is free. There are no charges involved for accessing the many features our community offers.
To begin the registering process simply CLICK HERE OR follow the links from the HOME PAGE
You will first be asked to enter your Date of Birth. Users are required by law to be 13 years or older to use our message board (in turn the gallery and elements for download). If you enter your birthday information without the year included - your message board registration will go unconfirmed until the site adminstrator requests verification of your age (ie: year of birth).
Click PROCEED to continue.
Read the FORUM RULES that appear carefully. By agreeing to the rules you are under legal contract. You should also read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before continuing. To proceed check the box and select REGISTER.
You are then asked to enter some personal details.
Enter a USERNAME you wish to be known by on the site. This need not be your real name, choose a name that has meaning for you that does not compromise your personal identity. If the UserName you choose is already in use by another member you will be asked to choose agin.
Enter a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS, you need to be able to recieve your registration confirmation in order to complete the entire process.
Enter the combination of numbers and or letters you see under IMAGE VERIFICATION. You are asked to do this in order to verify that this registration is not being performed by an automated process.
If you have been referred by a current member of SBB you can enter their name where asked. If not you can leave this section blank.
All timestamps displayed on the forums can be automatically corrected to show the correct time for your location in the world. Simply select the appropriate time zone from the list below, or leave it at the default setting.
From time to time, the administrators may want to send you email notices. If you do not want to receive these notices, disable the relevant option. If you do not want other members to be able to contact you via emial then disable the option.
When the form is complete, select Complete Registration. If you have left out any required information or if someone is already using the details you have given, you will be asked to check the information and make any changes.
If your registration has been successful you will recive the following message:
Thank you, *member name*. Your registration is now complete.
You may now proceed to edit your Profile in order to fill in additional personal details about yourself, or you could modify your Options to customize your browsing experience of this site. If you would rather do these things later, you can do so by following the links around the site to your User Control Panel.
Alternatively, you can simply go back to the Forums and start posting in threads.
