Often when I am looking for inspiration I do a search of the gallery to find some layouts that will give me some ideas for my own scrapping. Perhaps I am looking to see how certain elements have been incorporated into a layout. Often I like to look for layouts of a special theme. Fortunately we can search the gallery for layouts matching the search terms were are looking for.
The search link is in the menu bar in the gallery.

When you click on the link you are taken to the following search screen:

You can choose to enter key words alone, or if you know the user name of a poster, you can search for layouts they have posted by entering their username. You can narrow your search by looking at specific galleries and dates.
Another feature that makes searching easier is the Add to Favorites option. This is an option on the menu bar underneath a layout in the gallery. When you particularly like a layout and know you will want to find it again, you can add it to a personal collection of favourites .

If you want to find those layouts again, you can click on the My Favorites button on the top of the gallery, when you are logged in. You can even click on the download button and download a package of zipped image files direct to your own hard drive.
