I am “coffeequeen,” from rural Upstate NY…very rural! We are so rural that if you have more than 4 of your own teeth, you just too hoity-toity to socialize with us common folk! Heee..Just Kidding! And I DO have all my own teeth! I really love it out here, the seasons, the snow, the snow, the snow…oops, sorry.

I am Fab 40 and have been married to my hubby, Steve, for 19 years and we have three gorgeous kidders- Levi, 11yo Baseball All Star and the Yankee's #1 fan, Ben, 9 yo green belt student of TaeKwonDo who, when he's not working on those forms, LIVES for dirt, and Claire, 5 yo deaf angel who is just way to smart for her Mom and Dad! They are my inspiration, exasperation and motivation for scrapping. After all, as they approach dating age, I have to have lots of humiliating-er-I mean-endearing LO's to show all their dates and I intend to have an Arsenal-um-album, yeah, that's what I meant-FULL! I am a Christian and very active in my church, a a homeschooling mom, and work part-time as a barista in a cyber-café (although you'd never guess the cyber part if you heard some of the computer questions I ask!).

I joined SBB in Oct. of 2003 and became an HDTM in August, 2004. My favorite program right now is Digital Image Pro 7 and most recently, 10. But, I am beginning to learn PSE2 and while DIP is very user friendly, I think PSE2 will outrun it in element creating. Both are pretty awesome. I use a Kodak DX4530, 5MP and an HP 2MP. The 2MP is great for places and times when I don't want to risk the 5-er, but it also takes great shots too. Its main limitation for me is the shutter speed. I take a lot of action pics with kids and sports and the HP kind of clicks and readies itself or 3 seconds or so between shots and my subs are often long gone by then.

My favorite tip: look in all the nooks and crannies of your graphics program. Just when you think you've got it inside and out, you can find something new to try. I love manipulating photos and cruise the galleries to get inspiration form all the great photographers in there.

My personal Fave LO:

It's my fave right now because of the journaling and my daughter's excitement about this new road she's headed down.

My scrapbook style? Well your guess is as good as mine! I LOVE LOVE LOVE learning new techniques, from clean graphics, to shabby, to montage, to collage! So I may never settle into any one style. Gotta love words like “ECLECTIC!”
