Hi everyone, my name is Ronalyn (same as my username). I am a stay-at-home mom of 3. Caelan; 9 Ethan; 6 and Isabel; 23 months. My DH is an active duty airman and along with that responsibility comes
many changes and challenges everyday. We currently reside in Alaska.
And quite honestly, I am the kind of person that loves warm weather being born and raised in Hawaii.
I first came across digital scrapbooking by browsing various scrapbook sites in search for ideas for paper scrapping. Then I came across the works of Carver (Veronica) and Anna (mom2ellarose) and noticed it was done all digital. And they achieved it using Photoshop 7. I've had this program for awhile and was not aware of what it could do. I started playing around with it and quickly learned that it was fun to experiment with a great way to showcase my family. I emailed Veronica commenting her fabulous work and she attached a link to the SBB site.
Since then, May 2004, I have become very addicted, posting layouts as many as I could, and best of all meeting new people and making new friends.
I also enjoy photography. Although,I have not taken any photography courses, my desire to learn new things allows me to challenge myself continuously in the field of photography. And with the recent purchase of my new "baby", my Canon 20D, it has opened up an exciting new world for me allowing me to take a step beyond film and point and shoot cameras. I'm learning new techniques everyday while I photography my pride and joy, my family.

Because it was one of my first layouts that made me realize that I had
found my niche which was important for me because being a SAHM,
sometimes you just want to feel recognized for something else other
than a "loving" mom. And this layout did it for me.

because I realized at this point that I was more comfortable with a "graphic-type-linear" style and with the objective to showcase the photo.

Mainly because, I had to do a whole lot of whining for this one. And also, pictures of both DH and I are very rare!
